I'm moving to Instagram!
I will no longer post my artwork on this website, but I'll go ahead and keep the work I already have on my profile here (including the old and crummy stuff I posted when I was new and still learning how to use Paint Tool SAI PLEASE DON'T LOOK AT IT ADJSCLKBLESNX)
I'll gradually be moving my more recent pieces (the ones I'm MUCH more happy with) to my Instagram, so if you find it and it's pretty empty, no, it's not a cheap rip-off account from someone who just wants followers... it's just me.
Hope to see you there! I'll post the link in my "Find Me" pic as soon as I can!

Something I'm Considering (PLZ READ)

So my coworker suggested that I get an Instagram and that doing so expand my audience.
I mainly want to expand my audience because here on my little account where only about 1/20th of my watchers are active, there isn't a whole lot of opportunity for feedback or finding some good connections with other artists. Things have especially stagnated now. My most recent pictures are all things that I've been really proud of, but 5 out of my 6 most recent works have had exactly 0 comments, and out of these, the most favorited one has only 7 favs.
Essentially, I don't want to have to COMPLETELY rely like I have been on things like events in order to get noticed. I want to be able to reach out to an active watch base, which can open up a lot of opportunities for me in the future. It's a bit of a leap, and I'll have to do some serious art-dumpage going into it, but as I'm mulling this over it's looking like a more and more beneficial outlet for me.
Whether this is goodbye for my DevianArt or not, I do want to appreciate the active watchers I do have. You have not gone unnoticed, and I'm really happy that you stuck with me.
If I were to go through with this, I'd probably keep my account here for the sake of staying active in the community rather than as a poster and just have like a piece that says "Hey! Find me on Instagram!" or that kind of thing... I will likely continue to participate in DeviantArt's contests as well as favoriting and commenting on other works.
If nothing else, I want this to be thought through, so PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me what you think if I missed something crucial that I should consider or if you think this is the right choice.
